Mission Statement

The purpose of the Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum is to collect, preserve, interpret and display historical and cultural materials related to the westward expansion, to Wyoming pioneers in particular and the west in general.

Visiting the Museum

The Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum, located on the Wyoming State Fair Park, is open to the public year round.  Winter hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  Summer hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 1-5 pm.  The museum is closed state and federal holidays.  The museum is handicapped accessible and admission is free. The Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum is listed as a Star Attraction in the AAA tourbook.
