- We
have easels and some pedestals, but you are welcome to bring your own
if you need something special.We
will retain a 20% commission for the promotion and sale of your original
pieces. Be
sure that your retail value includes the commission.
- You
will be allowed to sell prints. We
want to display original work, so you will
need to have your own print holder. Any
displayed prints will be required to be matted
for proper display. The
commission rate on non-original art is 30%. Giclee
prints will have a 25% commission, no exceptions.
- We
will retain 50% commission on Quick Draw and Silent Auction pieces.
- We
must have a consignment form signed for each original
work of art offered for sale. When you complete the consignment form, include the
size of each work, especially sculptures. We will handle the
sales for you. We will collect and pay the Wyoming sales tax. You
are responsible for your own income tax.
- We
accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover cards after approval.
- Name
tags will be made for you, and we will also have name cards for your
assigned space.
- You
will need to make your own arrangements for
room accommodations. Remember,
it is Fair week so rooms will go fast.
- It
is important to this show that you are at
the reception and bring new works. We encourage you to be present
for the entire event.
- We
will not sell any art other than that of the represented artist invited
to the show.
- The
2005 Douglas Invitational Art Show and Sale
will begin with the Friday night reception, which runs from 7 to
11 p.m. The
art must be set up by 6 p.m. Friday night. The results of Friday's
silent auction will be announced around 10 p.m. The show is open
to the public on Saturday from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. On
Sunday the show will be open to the public
from 9 a.m until 4 p.m. All art
will be released at 4 p.m.
